Organizing events such as India Independence Day celebrations and Diwali festivities to preserve and promote Indian culture.
Events are free for the community, celebrated outdoors. They happen during August and October months. On an average over 2000 people attended the events

Engagement and inclusivity by bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds. These events, including Women's Day celebrations, Garba Night etc.
These events are generally ticketed, organized at a rented private location in colder months. Garba Night event has been availed on an average by over 2000 people

Provide platforms for civic engagement and awareness building by involving local, state and national government officials and representatives.

Membership Rules and Regulations
Eligibility:
- > Membership is open to all individuals and families who support the mission and goals of LCIA.
- > Membership fees are as follows:
- > $50 per individual per year
- > $110 per family (two adults and two children under 12) per year
- > $125 per family (three adults and one child under 12) per year
- > $150 per family (four adults) per year
- >Children aged 12 and over are considered adults for membership purposes.
Conduct:
- >Members are expected to behave in a respectful and courteous manner at all LCIA events and activities.
- >Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the revocation of membership.
Participation:
- >Members are encouraged to actively participate in LCIA events, volunteer opportunities, and community initiatives.
- >Members must adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth for each event and activity.
4. Fees and Donations:
- > Membership fees are due annually and must be paid to maintain active membership status.
- > There are no refunds or transfers once the membership fee is paid.
- > 5% of all proceeds generated from membership fees will be donated to a charity organization selected by the LCIA committee.
- > Members are encouraged to contribute to LCIA's fundraising efforts through donations, sponsorships, and employer matching programs.
5. Vendor Stalls:
- > Members who are vendors may apply for stalls at LCIA events. Fees for stalls vary, and special considerations are given to small businesses, senior citizens, and non-profit organizations.
- > Vendors must comply with all event guidelines and regulations.

• Event Admission:
- > LCIA’s most prestigious India Independence event is free and open to the public.
- > However, ticketed events such as Garba Night, Women's Day & 5K Run/Walk have varying ticket prices.
- > Group ticket pricing is available to encourage community engagement.
• Food Collection and Donation:
- > LCIA organizes food drives to collect and donate food items to local food pantries, such as Vernon Township Food Pantry and Veterans Food Pantry.
- > Members can participate by donating packaged and boxed food items at designated drop-off locations.
